Club Rules
BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT
Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or customers will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
This includes sexual harassment, unwanted comments, gestures, or any behaviour that makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
We reserve the right to refuse service, remove individuals from the premises, and take further action where necessary. This may include contacting our security partners, the police, or pursuing legal action depending on the severity of the behaviour.
PAYMENTS & PRICING
It is your responsibility to check the prices for gaming, entry, and services before playing. All pricing information is clearly displayed at reception and available online. If you are unsure about anything, please ask a member of staff before you begin. All payments must be made upfront prior to play.
It is also your responsibility to manage your allocated time and finish your game within your booked session. If you exceed your booking time, we reserve the right to charge for any additional time used.
CARE OF TABLES AND EQUIPMENT
Please treat all tables, cloths, and equipment with care and respect at all times. Do not stab, jab, or deliberately strike the cue into the cloth, as this can cause permanent damage. Drinks & food must not be placed on any gaming tables. Spills can cause significant and costly damage to the cloth and equipment.
Be mindful of their surroundings and to play responsibly. Staff may intervene or caution players if they observe behaviour that could risk damage.
We reserve the right to charge for any damage caused to tables, cloths, cues, or other equipment.
DON'T BRING FOOD OR DRINK IN
Please do not bring your own food or drink into the club.
This includes, but is not limited to, takeaway food, snacks, soft drinks, alcohol, flasks, and gym bottles. Any items brought into the premises may be refused or required to be left at reception.
Hot food and alcoholic beverages from outside are strictly prohibited. If these are brought into the club, you will be asked to leave the premises.
We provide a full range of food and drink options on-site, along with free drinking water available upon request.
ANTI-DRUGS POLICY
We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy towards the use, possession, or supply of illegal drugs on our premises.
Any individual found to be taking, possessing, or distributing drugs will be immediately removed from the club, permanently banned, and have any membership revoked without refund. We reserve the right to contact the police and fully cooperate with any investigation.
If we reasonably suspect that a person is under the influence of drugs, we reserve the right to refuse entry, refuse service, or ask them to leave the premises.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
We reserve the right to refuse entry or service to any individual at our discretion.
This includes, but is not limited to, anyone displaying disrespectful, aggressive, or abusive behaviour towards staff or customers, or anyone who appears to be under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol. Any behaviour that compromises the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of others will not be tolerated. Where necessary, individuals may be asked to leave the premises, and further action may be taken, including involvement of security partners or the police.
MEMBERSHIP TERMINATIONS
We reserve the right to cancel, change or modfiy your membership at any time. If you breach the club rules we reserve the right to cancel your membership and no refund will be given.
AGE LIMITS & SAFEGUARDING
Children are welcome in the club, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Under 18s can stay in the venue until 9pm. Vulnerable people and children in care must be accompanied by carers at all times and our Risk Assessment Form completed at reception. You can find a copy here:

GAMBLING
We do not endorse gambling on skill based games like snooker, pool or darts, we will never collect, handle or profit from any private bets. If you decide to play a friend for a wager on a skill based game, then this bet is private and Hazel Grove Snooker Club Ltd is not in any way party to such bet.
